青花海水纹香炉,明永乐,高55.5cm,口径37.3cm,足距38cm。

炉阔口,短颈,鼓腹,下承以三象腿形足,肩部置两朝天耳。内施白釉。外壁通体绘海水江崖纹。
The stove has a wide mouth, a short neck and a bulging belly. It has three legs shaped feet and two ears facing the sky on its shoulders. White glaze is applied inside. The outer wall is painted with sea water and river cliff pattern.
此器与青海省博物馆藏“大明永乐年制”款铜炉器形相似。其形体硕大,青花色泽浓艳,晕散明显,凝结的黑斑密布于纹饰中。纹饰寓意江山永固。能够烧造如此有气魄、纹饰精美的瓷器,反映出当时景德镇窑工高超的制瓷技艺。
